Not much to report

I just finished speaking with Mary. The hospital staff is still working on finding a Rehab Center for Rick to go to when he is released from Wausau. This has not been an easy task. Many of these facilities don't have a lot of beds and many of them are full.  Not all centers specialize in the treatment that Rick needs for his type of injury.

Right now, other than keeping him comfortable and monitoring his pain and his sugar levels, there isn't a medical reason for him to stay there.  They are just working to find him the best place for Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) in the Metro-Milwaukee area, if possible. When I know something, I'll pass it on.

He did have a follow up CAT SCAN today, the results will be available tomorrow. The staff originally said that they wouldn't do one until he was released, unless there was a necessity. There hasn't been any, so this one is will show any changes that have taken place since the first scan was taken the day of the accident.

Please keep Rick's family in your prayers at this stressful time. Pray that a suitable facility is found for Rick, so he can begin his therapy. They need your support as much as Rick does.
