Banana Cream Pie for Lunch!

Rick ate part of a burger and some fries for lunch and then it was time for dessert.
"where's mom and dad?"   "mom"
Cele had baked a banana cream pie just for him (his absolute favorite) so they cut a piece for him to try.  A soon as he had swallowed the first bite he had his mouth open wide and ready for another. Mary got him to drink his milk of magnesia (something the nurses couldn't do), so she'll have to get a job on staff :)

They tried to get Rick to stand and wanted to take him for a walk, but he couldn't get his knees locked enough to stand, so they are going to get a special device that will help him to stand and try again another time.   Remember though, we know he can stand, because after he broke out of his restraints on Sunday night, the nurse found him standing at the side of his bed. He was confused and didn't know where he was, but he was standing on his own.

Later this afternoon, Rick asked for a AM/FM radio.  Ang asked him what he wanted to listen to.
"WTMJ"
Wow, Rick, the Brewers play tonight, Packers tomorrow...
