Well, the escape artist was at it again last night. Rick broke out of his arm restraints (think about being attached to the metal bed railing with a zip tie!) and was found standing by the side of bed. This has earned him the new nickname of "Houdini". Mary says that today, if they have available staff to watch him 24 hours, he is ready to be moved from ICU to a regular room. HUGE
His back is hurting from laying in the hospital bed and had been given some meds to relieve that, but other than a headache, which is to be expected, that's it for any type of medication. HUGER
Mary has been patiently feeding him every meal but now he has proclaimed that,
"I want to eat with my hands". So she's ordered breakfast for him and is planning to let him do it himself!
